Dark and thick. Gave it the Mollydooker shake and left screw cap off for 1 hour before tasting. Alcohol had mostly blown off and was ready to drink. Delicious! Big cherry and spice flavors on the palate. Approachable despite the syrupy, dense appearance and high alcohol level. Not overly hot. Long red fruit finish. This wine is ready to drink now. Light color even for a Pinot. Slightly earthy on the nose. The usual blueberry, cherry... maybe some raspberries? Slightly oakey. Medium body. Decent mouthfeel, low to medium tannins... smooth. Nothing worth writting home about but a decent Pinot. I popped and poured but I bet with some decanting this wine would evolve a bit more. (4130 views) | ||||

This is a great wine! The perfect balance of fruit and oak. Nose of ripe cherry with a subtle hint of spice. Firm tannins give this wine structure. Well balanced. I should have bought more! Drinking perfectly now. (4005 views) | ||||

Give this wine at least 90 minutes to open up. Strong and intense with a flavor profile of raspberry and cherry. Nose of spice and leather. Dense and long on the finish with hints of dark chocolate and smoke. Tannins are firm and well structured. Will improve with a few more years of cellaring. (3668 views) | ||||
